    Wouldn’t it be great if posters like these would adorn our church foyers?

  2. Thank you! Amid all the nonsense being spouted about the sacrifices soldiers have made, I’ve heard nothing about how most of those “sacrifices” would have been unnecessary if those soldiers had not defied God and entered into the other guy’s lands.

      Maybe most people feel they can make their point without taking cheap shots at the dead? The picture and the scripture get the point across well enough without blaming the guys who end up fighting fights they didn’t start.

        You”re both right: most of those sacrifices would have been unnecessary if the military and political leadership – and the voters who keep supporting them – had not defied God.
