Bush threw this first. Shoes do not have the same effect.

Just a reminder to all of us that airborne shoes are hardly sufficient punishment for what Bush threw first.

This is very shocking. Thanks for posting it. I wonder if things have changed since then. I also wonder what effect leaving Iraq will have– probably increased violence as well…it seems that there are no simple solutions.
Have things changed since then? I don’t think so. Check out what is happenning in Afghanistan:
“We were walking, I was holding my grandson’s hand, then there was a loud noise and everything went white. When I opened my eyes, everybody was screaming. I was lying metres from where I had been, I was still holding my grandson’s hand but the rest of him was gone. I looked around and saw pieces of bodies everywhere. I couldn’t make out which part was which.”
